My laptop recently installed a BIOS update – I don’t know what this was but since it happened I have been having sound problems with my laptop. All times are GMT I read around and found how to get the sound back on – I I think this problem is caused by some update windows. Yes, that is the chipset driver. The audio device has an exclamation mark in Device Manager.

After the update I had no sound. Unfortunately the PC it is not mine but of a friend of mine. If you do a google search there are various driver sites that show up for that motherboard that MAY have a driver, however most of those require you to pay for the driver and no guarantee it will work.

I think this problem is caused by some update windows. Now i cannot install either Windows 7 cause the audio driver and Windows XP cause it is not Supported anymore.
